My military service
I was drafted into the army April 1969 and did basic training at Ft Lewis, Wash. Artillery training at Ft Sill, Ok. I was assigned to A btry 1/27 atillery, on a 155mm self propelled howitzer. We moved to different locations mostly around Tay Ninh. Went to Cambodia for two mos in April 1970. I extended for two months so I could get out of the army sooner. After discharge as we got off the plane we were harrassed and spit on.
