The Last Guy in the Squad

Dale Michael Lais served in the 196th Light Infantry Brigade. He was the "drag," or the guy at the end of the line, and carried ammo for his squad.

I was the last guy in the squad, so I was called the drag. I carried the shotgun rounds and stuff.
