POW-MIA day

Torture and pain sad times all alone. We won’t rest till you all make it home. We cry out to God we hope for the best. Until you come home there can be no rest.

I was asked to sing at a POW-MIA Day event this year by our local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 941 here in Fargo, ND. This special day of recognition and remembrance is observed across the nation on the third Friday of September each year. It honors those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. Remember them in your prayers. I wrote a new special song for the event called "No Rest".

NO REST

Missing in Action where can you be
No rest till you’re home for you and for me
You’re out there somewhere your fate is unknown
We won’t rest till you all make it home
We cry out to God we hope for the best
Until you come home there can be no rest

Prisoners of war we pray for you
That you stay strong and you make it through
Torture and pain sad times all alone
We won’t rest till you all make it home
We cry out to God we hope for the best
Until you come home there can be no rest

You served your country you sacrificed
For our safety and freedoms you paid the price
Missing in action, prisoners of war
We won’t rest till you’re not there no more
We cry out to God we hope for the best
Until you come home there can be no rest
Missing in action, prisoners of war
We won’t rest till you’re not there no more
till you’re not there no more
