Keeping out of Trouble in Vietnam
According to Tom Farnsworth, he kept out of trouble during the Vietnam War due to his rural upbringing, his religion, and his carpentry skills. Though he doesn't regret serving, he regrets not joining the anti-war movement upon returning home.
I always found a church to go to, and that kept me out of a lot of trouble.
Tom's story was captured with the help of TPT's Minnesota Remembers Vietnam team.
