Father and Son serving in Vietnam

Young soldier pointing out a location on a map of Vietnam to older soldier.

This picture was taken in Saigon in 1968. In the photo I'm pointing out the location of my base (Tuy Hoa) to my Dad.

I was in Saigon to help repair some damaged aircraft. He served in Vietnam from October 1967 to October 1968 and I served from November 1967 to June 1969.

He also served in World War 2 in the Navy and in Korea and Vietnam in the Air Force. He passed away in 1997 after serving in the military for over 20 years.
