A Poem for Us

Why is it we'll never learn,
to not kill those- whom soon we'll yearn-
to come back,

POW-THUD-BOOM-CRACK!

The violence will not cease-
unless we realize, and come to peace.

So this is a message strong and clear,
the mistakes we made we shan't mirror.
The people dead,
will be remembered when this poem is read
