Though Carole Heffernan was an anti-war protester, she has the utmost respect for her second husband and his fellow Vietnam buddies. Witnessing their reunions every two years has been an emotional and amazing experience for her.
The bond that they developed in that period of time... what an impact it had on all of their lives.
