A Formative Experience for a Young Couple

Tom volunteered for Navy Officer Training in 1962. His experience in the Navy was a formative one for him; and living in California while Tom was overseas was formative for his wife, Hannah. They both agree they would do it again, though they wonder about the nature of the war and its lasting affects.

The veterans from Vietnam were really not treated well when they came back. That hurt, that wasn't good.
