1946 C-Rations

Medic Larry Lick was only at basecamp for about two weeks out of 10 1/2 months. One mission was 110 days straight without a shower, a change of clothes, or real food. After wearing his boots for two months straight, he almost lost his feet.

A lot of people don't realize--for 10 1/2 months we ate 1946 C-rations.
