Minnesota Remembers Vietnam: The Telling Project

Cast performing a play on stage

Follow five Vietnam War veterans and family members on a journey as they shape their experiences into a powerful stage performance with the help of The Telling Project, a national performing arts non-profit that uses theater as a tool to deepen civilian understanding of the military experience.

This hour-long program documents the cast through in-home interviews, sneak peeks into their rehearsal process, and ultimately, in a culminating performance. Distributed national by American Public Television.

The Telling Project is such a unique and powerful way of connecting veterans to their communities. In the span of just six days, this incredible group went from not knowing their lines at all to performing the script flawlessly in front of a room full of strangers. It was an honor to spend time with these amazing people and to capture this powerful process.
