Two veterans' paths crossed 47 years ago. Rick Williams of Springfield, Ohio and Tony Jensen of St. Paul, Minnesota both served in Vietnam at the same time, in the same place, but do not discover it for 42 years.

This story is very much about the Marines and the Air Force serving at DaNang Airfield in 1970. Rick Williams (Marine infantry Sergeant) and Tony Jensen (Air Force Intelligence Officer). Tony Jensen received his commission through the Air Force ROTC program at the University of St. Thomas (Class of '63) and went on active duty as a Reserve officer in April 1964. Following Vietnam in 1970-71, he was augmented into the Regular Air Force. Tony married Patricia Dobbs of Eveleth, Minnesota in 1963.
