I've been living with that for almost 50 years now... What if? What if I hadn't have done that?

During a major battle in which the company's radiomen got hit, rifleman Glenn Griffin volunteered to become the radioman. Near the end of his tour, he was offered a chaplain's assistant position which he somewhat reluctantly accepted. As it turns out, this decision may have saved his life.
