My First Job
At 18, Donna Jensen started her first job out of high school working at the draft board. The job was tumultuous, especially as protests started to erupt. Her first boyfriend was killed in Vietnam, and she eventually married a Vietnam veteran.
I was 18 and the war had just started, and all my buddies were getting called up.
Donna's story was captured with the help of TPT's Minnesota Remembers Vietnam team.
