I'd Never Been So Sick In My Life

Donovan Nash's first experience in country was getting what he guessed to be food poisoning from a fried egg sandwich. And so his journey began. He ended up as part of a 15-man recon team as part of the Black Scarf Battalion, 1st Infantry Division. He was lucky to make it out of Vietnam, albeit on a stretcher.

There were only 15 of us together... only a couple of us made it out, and I went home on a stretcher.
