I Had A Chance To Help My Heroes

For Darrell Rask, the Vietnam War was "the best of times, and the worst of times." He feels fortunate that as a Navy Corpsman he had the opportunity to help his heroes--injured servicemen. His time in Vietnam was a springboard for his medical career.

I was an Air Force Colonel as a flight nurse and I'm probably more proud of being a Navy Corpsman than I am of being a Colonel.
