A Flashback at the Wall
Larry Davis took a trip to Washington DC with his wife and a close friend to visit the Vietnam War memorials. The serenity of the space brought him back to his time in Vietnam and fired up his senses, making for an emotional visit.
The light was rapidly fading and an eery silence settled about me, churning up long-buried memories of standing to in Vietnam. My senses went on alert.
